Wild Weed Kitchen

On Saturday 30th April between 10-3, Artbomb Hallgate presents Wild Weed Kitchen. This is the beginning of a three week residency by Monika Dutta and Jake Harries, working with Sacha Gray, and Janet Wallace. Come to Artbomb Hallgate to discover what will occur and to get a taste of the activities on offer. As part of the beginning of the residency, there will be a drop in workshop in Text Art, with stenciling and poetry and spray painting in public spaces around Doncaster. There is also a chance to view the ‘Dandelion Army’ Janet’s response to the Wild Weed Kitchen is  a series of large graffiti boards that will be displayed in public locations along the street. There will be food made from Dandelions to eat, and a chance to meet and chat with the artists as part of their residency. The workshop has been funded by DMBC ARG grants and is in collaboration with Kim Farr at The Gallery Gate.
